Unfortunately the work doesn't stop when the builder hands you the keys. Transforming 'house' to 'home', getting everything exactly where you want it, within your budget and timeframes, can be exhilarating but also quite challenging. The little things inside the house (toilet roll holder, towel rails, curtains rails etc) still need to be organised, the garden needs to be changed from a dirt pile to a thriving oasis, the kids need an area to play in (without traipsing dirt through your new house!), washing lines needing installation, sheds need to be organised and filled, and you need some entertaining space for you and your loved ones. ARGHHH..
